It's the 23rd of December, 2012 and like many of you owners of, used to be owners of, and wanna be
owners of, a 1950 or 1951 Ford Crestliner, I have noticed a scarcity of information regarding these cars.
This being the case, I've decided to try my hand at creating a blog for those interested in these two years
of Ford Crestliners.
I'm not a professional blogger, nor do I claim to be so bear with me.
Now, a little about myself: My name's Jim Sartor and I live in San Marcos, California and have
lusted to a Sportsman Green and Black 50 Crestliner when I first saw one in the Ford showroom
in a neighboring town in Southern Illinois and I was 13 years old and immediately fell in love.
I never forgot that car and now, at age 75, I've finally gotten one of my own and it will go later
to my son in Illinois.
As the blog progresses, I'd like to try to establish a registry of current owners of 50-51 Crestliners;
sources of parts; answers to your questions and anything else everyone finds of interest.
Everything I've been able to locate seems to indicate there are probably less than 200 of the 50-51
Crestliners still on the road but I can't verify this, so just let fly if you have any better info.
